The Uttar Pradesh Congress is set to embed Rahul Gandhi’s vision of social justice deep into its grassroots strategy by strengthening its organisational presence across all 823 blocks and Nyay Panchayats in the state.

Congress Launches Grassroots Revamp Ahead of 2027 Elections

As part of its ongoing organisation-building campaign, AICC UP in-charge Avinash Pande announced that the party will establish robust units at the block and Nyay Panchayat levels, aiming to empower local leadership and ensure representation of all social sections in the party hierarchy.

“Understanding and addressing issues from the grassroots—block and Nyay Panchayat levels—will help us fight for public interest against the anti-people BJP government,” said Pande.

Ajay Rai Emphasizes Local Connect and Bundelkhand Focus

UP Congress President Ajay Rai echoed the sentiment, stating that connecting workers at the block level will enhance the party’s performance in panchayat and assembly elections. He also stressed the need to address Bundelkhand’s key issues, urging coordinators to collaborate with senior leaders to meet the campaign’s goals within the set timeframe.

Nyay Panchayat Model Reflects ‘Panch Nyay’ Philosophy

The move aligns with Rahul Gandhi’s broader ‘Panch Nyay’ (Five Justices) framework, which advocates justice for youth, women, farmers, labourers, and participatory governance—a central theme of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.
