In a landmark move to foster inclusive growth, the governments of Arunachal Pradesh and Gujarat have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at boosting rural development through knowledge exchange, policy innovation, and grassroots empowerment.

The partnership, formalized during a high-level inter-state workshop hosted by the Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM), will focus on replicating Gujarat’s successful models in non-farm livelihoods, women-led enterprises, and decentralized planning across Arunachal’s remote districts.

  • Capacity building for rural entrepreneurs and self-help groups (SHGs)
  • Implementation of Lakhpati Didi and other women-centric income programs
  • Joint development of sustainable non-farm enterprises
  • Leveraging local resources and traditional knowledge for scalable business models
