In a proud moment for Meghalaya and the entire Northeast, Chaivalry Lartang has been crowned Miss Universe Meghalaya 2025, earning the prestigious opportunity to represent the state at the upcoming Miss Universe India 2025 pageant.
The grand finale of the state-level competition was held in Shillong, where Chaivalry captivated the judges with her poise, eloquence, and stage presence. Previously the 1st Runner-Up at Miss Meghalaya 2024, her journey to the crown has been marked by resilience and grace.

The event featured a high-profile jury panel including Amjad Khan, Franchise Director of Miss Universe India; Aqsa Varghese, Miss Universe Kerala 2024; and Irene Dkhar, Miss Tourism India. The panel unanimously praised Chaivalry’s performance during the Q&A round, citing her as a standout contender for the national stage.
🛫 Next Stop: Delhi for National Training
Chaivalry will now head to Delhi for intensive grooming and training, where she will prepare to compete against top contestants from across India.
