Emami Ltd. has reported a 41.9% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) decline in its net profit for the fourth quarter of FY25, reflecting challenges in market conditions and operational costs. The company’s revenue also dropped by 8.3% sequentially, signaling a slowdown in sales momentum.

Despite the quarterly decline, Emami’s year-on-year (YoY) performance remained positive, with net profit rising 8.9% to ₹162.17 crore compared to the same period last year. The company’s total revenue for Q4FY25 stood at ₹963.05 crore, marking an 8.1% YoY increase.

Emami’s international business posted a 6% growth, despite geopolitical challenges in key markets such as Bangladesh, the Middle East, and parts of Africa. The company also highlighted strong domestic performance, with organized trade channels contributing 27.6% to revenues, expanding by 140 basis points over the previous year.

Looking ahead, Emami remains focused on portfolio premiumization, innovation acceleration, and strategic international expansion to navigate macroeconomic uncertainties and sustain long-term growth.
