In a major boost to India’s renewable energy sector, KPI Green Energy Ltd. announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Sun Drops Energia Pvt. Ltd., has secured new orders totaling 36.87 megawatts (MW) for solar power projects. The orders fall under the company’s Captive Power Producer (CPP) business segment and are aligned with the Gujarat Renewable Energy Policy-2023.

  • The projects will be executed under the Distributed Renewable Energy Bilateral Purchase (DREBP) policy and GERC Tariff Orders Nos. 5 and 6 of 2024

📈 Financial Performance Snapshot

KPI Green Energy reported a 130% YoY jump in Q4 FY25 net profit to ₹99.4 crore, with revenue surging 97% to ₹569.4 crore. Despite a slight dip in EBITDA margin to 28.3%, the company remains focused on large-scale project execution, land acquisition near PE substations, and geographical diversification.

The company has signed MoUs with Odisha, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh to develop renewable energy parks, hybrid solar-wind projects, and green hydrogen initiatives. It also plans to expand into BESS solutions, offshore wind, and floating solar technologies.
