In a strongly worded statement, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan has condemned individuals expressing pro-Pakistan sentiments while residing in India. Speaking at a public event, Kalyan emphasized that such views are unacceptable, particularly during times of national crises.

Kalyan’s remarks were directed at certain political leaders who, during televised debates, allegedly displayed sympathy for Pakistan. He stated, “If you truly love Pakistan, then leave India and go live there. Why is there so much affection for Pakistan? Supporting a hostile nation under the guise of secularism cannot be justified, especially when India faces aggression.”

The comments come in the wake of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 26 civilians. Kalyan highlighted the need for unity and vigilance against divisive forces, urging citizens to prioritize national interests.

The Jana Sena Party also announced financial assistance of ₹50 lakh to the family of Madhusudan Rao, a party worker who lost his life in the Pahalgam attack. Additionally, ₹5 lakh will be provided from the party’s accident insurance fund.

Kalyan’s statements have sparked a broader debate on the balance between freedom of expression and national loyalty, with many supporting his call for a collective stance against terrorism. The incident underscores the ongoing challenges India faces in addressing both internal and external threats to its security.
