A tragic case of food poisoning has claimed the life of a 5-year-old boy in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, after he consumed a Baalam cucumber, commonly known as African kheera. Three other family members were hospitalized, with two children currently in critical condition in the ICU.

- Store food at safe temperatures to prevent bacterial growth.
- Maintain hygiene by washing hands before meals.
- Check for spoilage or bitterness in cucumbers and other produce before eating.
