In a significant step toward environmentally responsible resource development, Sikkim has joined the 2nd North East Geology and Mining Ministers’ Conclave in Guwahati, Assam, aimed at unlocking the mineral potential of the region through sustainable mining practices. The two-day event, held on June 27–28, is organized by the Ministry of Mines, in collaboration with the Ministry of Coal and the Government of Assam, under the ‘Viksit Bharat’ vision.
