Rising star Tanvi Sharma, a gold medalist at the Badminton Asia Women’s Team Championship, will spearhead a 19-member Indian contingent at the 2025 Badminton Asian Junior Championships, scheduled from July 18 to 27 in Solo, Indonesia.

🏸 Event Format & Preparation
- Team Event: July 18–22 (relay format; first to 110 points wins)
- Individual Events: July 23–27
- Training Camp: July 4–15 at the National Centre of Excellence, Guwahati, which will also host the BWF Junior World Championships later this year

Badminton Association of India (BAI) General Secretary Sanjay Mishra emphasized the squad’s potential:

India has previously secured nine medals at the U-19 Asian Junior Championships, with legends like PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen among past champions.
