- Dedicated AI & 5G Infrastructure: Tripura has allocated land for data centers, including one for Airtel in Agartala, which will serve as a digital hub for the eastern and northeastern regions.
- 5G Expansion: The state has achieved full 5G connectivity across all towns and 583 villages, making it one of the best-connected states in the region.
- Policy Support: Tripura has framed telecom infrastructure policies, including the Information Technology Policy 2022 and Data Center Policy 2021, to accelerate digital transformation.

Tripura has already implemented paperless administration, reducing file processing time from nine days to three days, saving ₹50 crore annually. The state also hosted a workshop on AI for Good Governance, in collaboration with the National e-Governance Division and the Ministry of Electronics and IT.
