Raosaheb More, the executive engineer of the Ujani Dam project, commented on the situation: “With storage crossing 70% over the past few days, we initiated a controlled water release. Never before has Ujani seen such levels in June.” The early release of water is a proactive measure to manage the rising storage levels and ensure safety at the dam while optimizing water supply for the region.
