Leading auto components manufacturer Uno Minda Ltd. has announced a strategic investment of ₹210 crore to establish a new electric vehicle (EV) casting parts facility in Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra. The move is aimed at meeting the surging demand from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the EV segment.

- The new plant will be part of Uno Minda’s Casting Division
- It will add a production capacity of 3,629 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA)
- The expansion will be executed in phases over five years, with Phase 1 operations expected in Q2 FY 2026–27
- The project will be funded through a mix of internal accruals and term loans
The decision was approved by the company’s Board Committee on June 19, 2025, following a detailed project report.
