Virat Kohli has once again etched his name in IPL history! During the IPL 2025 final against Punjab Kings, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star broke his own world record for the most runs scored against a single opposition in IPL history.
🔴 Kohli’s Record-Breaking Feat:
- Kohli now has 1,159 runs against Punjab Kings in IPL history, surpassing his previous record of 1,146 runs against Chennai Super Kings.
- He also became the player with the most fours in IPL history, hitting 771 boundaries, overtaking Shikhar Dhawan’s previous record of 768 fours.
📢 RCB’s Historic Win:
RCB posted 190 runs on the board, with Kohli top-scoring with 43 off 35 balls. Despite a slow start, his contribution helped RCB secure their first-ever IPL title, ending an 18-year wait.
