Rohingya Man Arrested in Tripura’s Unakoti District—Police Crack Down on Illegal Immigration!

A Rohingya national, Noor Mustafa, was arrested in Kailashahar, Tripura’s Unakoti district, along with Abdul Wahid, the man who sheltered him. Tripura police conducted a raid at Wahid’s house in Dhaliarkandi, acting on secret intelligence.

🔴 Key Details:

• Mustafa entered India from Bangladesh in 2019 and worked in Hyderabad.
• He was planning to return to Bangladesh with the help of touts.
• Police are investigating the network of touts who facilitated his movement.
• 816 Bangladeshis, 79 Rohingya persons, and two Nigerians have been arrested in Tripura since January 2024.

📢 Police Statement:

• “We received intelligence about a Myanmar national hiding in Dhaliarkandi. A raid was conducted, and both Mustafa and Wahid were arrested. We are tracing the touts involved.”
